3G pitches are becoming increasingly popular because they offer greater protection against the weather whilst also playing exactly like a natural field. They require much less maintenance and can be used all year round without any worries about the condition. The higher installation cost is easily offset by the lower management and upkeep costs and the fact that synthetic surfaces last much longer than natural ones.
Synthetic pitches are more hardwearing but still require protection against the weather. Our automated pitch protection (APP) system is recognised around the world as one of the most advanced and effective products of its type. It uses motorised rollers to let you cover a surface with the click of a button when you are finished with it. To uncover, all you need to do is reverse the roller and send it back in the opposite direction. The APP is by far the fastest pitch cover system on the market. It has been extensively tested and performs perfectly at temperatures from -40 to 75 degrees centigrade.
The Air Roller System (ARS) and manual pull systems require a little more work from your groundsmen but offer the same high standards of protection. Both systems are easily deployed, whether it is via roller or simply unfurled across the surface. They can be used end to end or across playing fields depending on your requirements and the size of the surface.
